Here is a simple recipe for Haitian spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 4 hot dogs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • water, to boil the spaghetti

Instructions

  • Boil the spaghetti in salted water and oil according to package directions. Drain and reserve.
    In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the hot dogs, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and garlic, fry until softened.
    Incorporate the spaghetti, let it cook for a few minutes (5-10 minutes) and add the onions and peppers.
    Serve hot and enjoy your Haitian spaghetti!
